Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro Announced With Most Powerful Snapdragon 855 Pricing Starts at Php23K

Initially released as the Redmi K20 Pro in China and India, this device has finally made its way to the international smartphone scene as the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro. Similar to the current Mi 9T on the market that was also initially launched as the Redmi K20, the Mi 9T Pro is its more powerful sibling thanks to the latest Snapdragon 855 processor embedded right into its heart as opposed to the non-Pro brother's Snapdragon 730 SoC.

The overall design of the Mi 9T Pro is pretty similar to the standard Mi 9T meaning the pop-up selfie camera is still here giving interested users the same all-screen Super AMOLED display experience with 1080p resolution across its 6.39-inch panel as well as the in-display fingerprint sensor. The back cover design are just stunning coming in in three color options - Glacier Blue, Carbon Black, and Red Flame.

In addition to the latest SD 855 chip, it is accompanied by Adreno 660 GPU and will be released in two storage configurations. The base model will offer 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage while the other has a bigger 128GB with the same RAM size.

The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro is not just about processor, display, and aesthetics, it's also about camera. That said, this smartphone is equipped with three cameras on its rear where the 48MP with Sony IMX586 sensor is leading the charge followed by a 13MP shooter with ultra-wide lens and an 8MP telephoto camera. On the front or in the pop-up piece is a 20MP selfie camera.

It will still be running on the latest MIUI 10 software based on the Android 9 Pie platform. Keeping the lights on is a huge 4000mAh with 27W fast charging feature.

For now the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro is officially launched in a few countries in Europe. Knowing that the Mi 9T is already in the Philippine market for a little while now, it is highly likely that the Mi 9T Pro will also be released in the country. We just have to wait a little longer for more announcement.

In Europe, the 6GB+64GB model is priced at 399 Euros or about Php23,00 while the 6GB+128 variant is at 449 Euros, around Php26,000.
