Earlier this month, Samsung launched and released its first smartphone in 2023 the Galaxy A14 5G for the European market, and now it has finally reached the Philippine market. From its predecessor, the Galaxy A13 5G, this new device offers not so much upgrade for this year, but it's nice to know that it now ships with the latest Android 13 with OneUI 5.0 right out of the box.
Another upgrade we see on this Galaxy A14 5G is on the display. It now has a quite larger and clearer display from 720p to 1080p. Not only that, the IPS LCD display also comes with a 90Hz refresh rate. Powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, the variant we are getting has a larger 6GB RAM and expandable 128GB internal storage.
During the phone's launch last week, Samsung said they will provide this Galaxy A14 5G with security updates for four years and then two major OS upgrades.
Pricing and freebies
The Galaxy A15 5G is officially priced at Php12,990. Unfortunately, this device does not come with charger brick in the box. But to address that, Samsung is adding a couple of accessories to the mix when purchased between January 14 and February 2, 2023. There will be a free 25W charger worth Php949 and 10,000mAh power bank valued at Php2,499. Now available at www.samsung.com and select Samsung Authorized Stores nationwide.
