The Ultimate Boss Gauntlet: Trial of True Evils
If you’ve ever wanted to test your skills against Sanctuary’s worst nightmares, now’s your chance. From June 1–19, the Trial of True Evils throws you into a back-to-back showdown against Skarn, The Butcher, Baal, and Diablo—all souped-up to anniversary-level difficulty. Survive, and you’ll walk away with the Butchie Familiar, an adorable (yet terrifying) mini-Butcher pet, along with Legendary Crests and Set Items to beef up your build. Yes you read that right, a little fresh meat-lover familiar will be yours and will follow you around as you slay demons across the Sanctuary. As a player myself, this is what I am very much excited about.
And hey, if you’ve been slacking on your gear, don’t worry—Blizzard’s also introducing Set Gear Reforging, letting you turn duplicate Set Items into stronger versions with better stats. No more useless loot clogging your inventory!
Free Stuff? Yes, Please!
What’s a birthday without presents? From June 19 through July 2, simply logging in (and being at least Level 30) gets you a free 5-Star Blood Floe Legendary Gem—no strings attached. There’s also an anniversary avatar frame up for grabs just for showing up, because Blizzard knows we love flexing our dedication.
If cosmetics are more your thing, the Sublime Lineage of Beasts set (4,500 Eternal Orbs) is hitting the shop, giving your hero a savage new look. And let’s be real, who doesn’t want to stomp demons in style?
Battle Pass 40 & Class Tweaks
The new Last Light’s Keepers Battle Pass arrives on June 7, packing 40 tiers of rewards, including Legendary Gems, Crests, and enough Hilts to keep you grinding happily. Meanwhile, Blizzard’s shaking up class balance—Barbarians get knockback immunity during Whirlwind (at the cost of extra Life drain), Monks deal 33% more damage with Exploding Palm (but wait longer between casts), and Blood Knights get a tweaked Whirling Strike for better survivability.
