After the commercial success of its Honor 400 5G that was recently released in the Philippines a couple months back, it appears that the Pro variant of the same device will also arrive locally.
Looking at the brand's social media account, they just released a teaser hinting at the possible arrival of the HONOR 400 Pro 5G smartphone in the Philippines. This teaser features celebrity ambassadors Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia where Julia is shown holding the said smartphone and in the background with the word PRO.
"You should know by now that we love surprising and treating our HONOR fans. They asked for it, and now, we are giving it to them. We are very excited for the coming days so stay tuned" said HONOR Philippines Vice President Stephen Cheng.
Expected upgrades over the non-Pro variant
HONOR fans are promised to expect better AI processing and thermal management technology on this model. There is improved AI-focused photography features and possibly the inclusion of Google Veo 2 technology for image-to-video generation.
HONOR 400 Pro 5G will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is slightly more powerful than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 of the standard HONOR 400 model.
In terms of IP certification, this one is also a little bit better with IP68/69 water and resistance. The non-Pro has IP66 certification.
