Netflix, surprisingly, just unleashed its first official teaser trailer for the upcoming One Piece Season 2 titled Into the Grand Line. The teaser trailer was released during Japan's One Piece Day 2025 giving us fans first look at the Straw Hat Pirates' next adventure. 2026 will definitely be both epic and legendary. I just can't wait.
Netflix did not say when the season 2 will stream on their platform but confirmed that it will arrive sometime in 2026. We just do not know the exact release date. However, what's another unexpected that was revealed in the teaser was that season 3 has just been greenlit and will begin filming in late 2025.
Originally we thought release date for the second season was going to happen in 2025. But knowing that filming just wrapped in South Africa, it appears that the people behind this most awaited series are taking their time to give us the best One Piece live action series. In fact, Eiichiro Oda visited the set and praised the cast. That's promising update.
With the upcoming season, we have to get ready for Baroque Works, Smoker's relentless chase, as well as the introduction of Nico Robin and Sir Crocodile.
In case you missed, the teaser also gave us a first look at the Loguetown, Whiskey Peaks, and a bit of hints of Drum Island where we are going to meet Tony Tony Chopper. He was not seen in the trailer but he will definitely part of the new season.
