Marvel Animation and Disney+ just dropped its first official trailer for Marvel Zombies animated series. In case you missed, this series was first announced nearly four years ago. And it's finally here! Well, almost here as all episodes will hit Disney+ on September 24, 2025.
This four-episode Marvel Zombies animated series is a direct spin-off from What If..? Zombies?! episode that first released on the streaming platform in 2021. At the same is also based on the popular comic series of the same title - Marvel Zombies - created by Robert Kirkman.
The show, however, is written and created by Bryan Andrews and Zeb Wells and executive produced by non other than Kevin Feige.
Based on what we have seen in the trailer above, this marks Marvel Animation's first dip into more mature, action packed, gore, and intense violence type of content. I mean, did you see Spiderman ripping off zombies' heads?
Just like the What If...? series, this Marvel Zombies is also set in an alternate universe where humanity including our Avengers heroes are zombie-infected and yeah that's including Thanos with the gems-studded Infinity Gauntlet.
