Huawei Ascend G6 specs, price and availability.
Huawei has officially announced the Ascend G6 a 4G LTE mid-range Android-powered smartphone at the MWC 2014 in Spain. Another version of this smartphone also comes in non-LTE variant which is going to be a lot more affordable than its sibling. Also, the 140-gram and 7.85mm thick device comes in a wide selection of different colors as you can see in the image above.
The Huawei Ascend G6 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly bean (some say it's 4.3) and if you are familiar with Android OS version you will know that it is a little bit behind the current trending in smartphone and tablet devices. Plus Huawei also installed Emotion UI on top of the Android software. The G6 features a 4.5-inch 960x540p qHD LCD Display, it is powered by a 1.2GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB RAM and an internal storage space of 4GB, it supports microSD card for additional memory.
For the battery, a 2,000mAh size is seated on the back of the device. For taking pictures, videos and selfies the Ascend G6 is equipped with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing snapper. Huawei Ascend G6 will be available in first quarter of the year while the Huawei Ascend G6 4G will be released in April 2014. Pricing was not disclosed.
