Motorola has announced the Moto Maxx an international version of the Turbo Droid smartphone. See specs and pricing here.
Motorola has unveiled the Moto Maxx smartphone which packs a 5.2-inch AMOLED Quad-HD display, quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor and 3GB of RAM. If you are familiar with the Verizon Wireless-exclusive Moto Droid Turbo smartphone that was announced last month, they are mostly the same, the Moto Maxx is just the international version for the said device.
Unlike the original Droid Turbo which comes in ballistic nylon and non-ballistic casings and in 32GB and 64GB storage options, the Moto Maxx will only be available in 64GB variant with ballistic nylon outer casing which the company claims to be the first in the industry. Under the casing lies the Kevlar layer which is said to be five times harder than steel. The rest is just the same.
The quad-HD AMOLED display gives users with 2560x1440 resolution and that is equivalent to 565 pixels per inch. Plus the screen is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Behind it sits the 21MP rear camera with autofocus and dual_LED flash paired with a relatively small 2.1MP front facing camera. Running the device is the near-stock version of Android 4.4.4 Kitkat.

The battery is as big as 3,900mAh which promises to last up to two days on a single charge, plus Motorola is offering the Moto Maxx with Turbo Charger that promises to charge the phone up to 8 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes.
The Moto Maxx is already available in Brazil for a price tag of about US$870 while it will be released in Mexico mid-November and more Latin American markets will follow soon. Looks like this version of Motorola smartphone is not going to be released in many other markets such as Europe, North America and Asia and this is most likely because of the release of Google's Nexus 6 smartphone globally, which happens to be made by Motorola as well.
